Privacy Policy

1. Drawing and information on your device

Saved daydreams and preferences are stored in the app's private storage. A saved daydream includes its title, dates, strokes, colors, background assets and saved view. Preferences include appearance, tools and layout. Local drawing IDs help reopen your work; they are not advertising or device identifiers. The app does not ask for a name, birthdate, location or account to draw.

On Android, the app may remember a reference to your last export document or folder so the file picker can return there. The app stores this reference locally and does not send it to us or use it to scan your files. Device backup and transfer services are described in Section 3.

2. Imports, exports and sharing

Import opens an editable backup you select. Save as and Share pass the selected image or editable backup to your device's file picker or sharing system. You choose another app, a storage provider or another device, such as a nearby device using Quick Share. That destination may use the internet and has its own privacy practices.

We do not operate a social network or messaging service, track recipients or automatically receive a copy. Exported filenames may include the drawing title. Editable backups contain the drawing and document details needed to reopen it. Check these before sharing personal or identifying information.

File preparation may create temporary copies in the app's cache or temporary storage. The app attempts to remove older temporary export/share files when preparing later file actions. Copies can remain until later cleanup or removal by the operating system; there is no guaranteed 24-hour deletion schedule.

3. Device backups and transfers

Your operating system or device provider may include app data in backup, restore or device-transfer services, depending on your settings. Those services may store data outside the device. Their privacy practices apply. DaydreamInk does not provide its own cloud synchronization service.

4. Optional support and bug reports

Support is intended for parents, caregivers and other adults. The app's support area uses a local parental challenge for temporary access. It does not verify age or record parental consent. Challenge answers are processed locally and are not sent to us.

Report a bug and Contact us prepare a draft that includes the app version, build number and platform. Bug reports also prompt for a description, steps to reproduce and optional device or operating-system details that you write. You can review, change or cancel the draft. DaydreamInk opens your email app; it does not send the message or automatically attach drawings or logs. Check that the From address is the adult's own email account.

If you send us email, we receive your email address, any sender name, message headers and the text or attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, investigate the issue and maintain the app. Our support mailbox uses Google Workspace to deliver and store messages. Your email provider also processes messages you send. Please send only what is needed, and do not include a child's identifying information, passwords or other sensitive information.

Copy draft and Copy email address place the selected text on your device's clipboard, which is handled by your operating system. Relocking support does not remove copied text or recall a draft already opened in another app.

5. Children and families

DaydreamInk is intended for children, teens and adults. Children can draw without submitting personal details to us. Parents and caregivers should handle support and check what is shared outside the app. A local parental challenge is an access barrier, not proof of age or legal consent to collect a child's information.

If we learn that we received personal information from a child without an applicable lawful basis, we will delete it promptly instead of keeping it under the ordinary support schedule. A parent or caregiver can contact support@anotherslicestudios.com about such information. Do not include identifying artwork or more child information than is necessary to explain the request.

6. Retention, deletion and requests

Saved daydreams remain until you delete them in the app or the app's stored data is removed. Deleting a drawing does not delete exported files, device backups, temporary copies or copies held by another app or person. Manage those copies separately. We cannot remotely access or delete drawings stored only on your device.

We retain ordinary adult support correspondence while resolving the issue, then delete copies under our control no later than one year after resolution, unless a longer period is required by law. Information from children is handled separately as described in Section 5. Deletion from provider-managed backups follows Google Workspace's service terms. Any retention rules or holds we configure must also be accounted for in our deletion process.

Contact support@anotherslicestudios.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information we hold in support correspondence. We may need enough information to confirm that the request concerns your own correspondence. Additional rights may apply where you live. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

7. This website and Cloudflare

This website is hosted through Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the website. Our page code contains no advertising, analytics or tracking scripts, cookies, online contact forms, embedded media or remote fonts. 8. Security

Local app records use the operating system's private-storage protections. We do not claim a separate layer of app-level drawing encryption. Exported files, backups and email rely on the protections of your device and chosen providers. No storage or communication method is completely secure.
